Konnie Huq (Born Kanak Asha Huq or কনক হক) was born in London, England to Muslim Bangladeshi parents. She got her first big break as a guest on Blue Peter as a child. In her youth she also appeared on Blockbusters as a contestant, she was on sitcom 2point4 Children playing a schoolchild and Newsround as an interviewer.
