Biography
Benjamin Whitehead (born May 15, 1977) known professionally as Ben Whitehead, is a British actor. He is best known as the second actor to provide the voice of Wallace in the Wallace & Gromit franchise, replacing Peter Sallis the original voice actor for Wallace. Whitehead first started his acting career in 2003 working at Aardman Animations. He voiced Mr. Leaching in Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit (2005), and Bob the Baker in Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death (2008). In 2009, he became the second person to voice the character of Wallace in the Wallace & Gromit franchise, beside Peter Sallis, starting in the video game series Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures (2009) which was a four-part, episodic, adventure game series by Telltale Games. In 2024 Whitehead voiced Wallace in the second feature film, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (2024). Whitehead has also worked on many other films including The Pirates!
