Biography
Bas Hassanat Piniwat is a Thai-American-Chinese singer and actor born in Bangkok and raised in Chiang Mai, Thailand. His cousin is actor Chaiyapol Julien Poupart. After studying at Montfort College in elementary school, he went on to study at the Thai-Chinese bilingual school Chongfah Xinseng Wanish Bamrung. However, when he quit table tennis and chose to pursue acting, he switched to a GED programme. Afterwards, he enrolled in the Faculty of Communication Arts at The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. As a youth table tennis player, he was a District 5 representative (northern region). In national competition, Bas managed to place 2nd runner up. When he was substituted, he decided to make the career change from athlete to singer-actor. Starting out, he landed mainly extra work. It wasn't until "2Moons" in 2017 that Bas landed his first leading role. In 2018, he joined the recurring cast of his first Chinese series "Cinderella Chef".
